The majority of books in this list were bought at Green Apple Books in San Francisco or at the Mono Lake Committee Bookstore in Lee Vining. You're much more likely to come close to the former, but I'd highly recommend both.
Not all of the books here were enjoyed. I'll take the opportunity to mention that reading the Communist Manifesto single-handedly made me sour on communism.
